Apsley, Bancroft (Paudash Trail Blazers S/C) - Closed
Well the end of the season has arrived. 2008 / 2009 has proven to be a good winter for the club with over 1750 hours groomed. Trails crews will be closing gates and removing seasonal signage installations in the next week or so. A big thank you goes out to the clubs landowners, volunteers, staff and the local business community that continues to support us every season. As we do every year we are again reminding all ATV riders that snowmobile trails are not ATV trails. Last fall the club spent a significant amount of money repairing our trails that were destroyed by ATVs in the off season and we dont want to incur these costs again.

Bancroft, LAmable (Old Hastings Snow Riders) - Closed
Many thanks go out to landowners, permit holders and volunteers. Our equipment is all ready for next year, from the four large groomers right down to the chain saws; all serviced, cleaned and put away. We are in a four-season playground and now its time to go to the next season, hope everyone has had a great time. See you next year! Team Old Hastings, Steve Stapley, President

Bobcaygeon (Twin Mountains S/C) - Closed
Another great year of excellent trails was enjoyed by sledders, although we had several weather interruptions that caused some problem areas on our trails. We were able to open trails in mid Dec 2008 but then had to limit them in January, re-open again only to have an unusual February, receiving little snow and some rain.
As of the second week of March, we still have a good trail base but have received inadequate new snow for good lubrication for sled sliders to run safely. We have had to close gates on three trails as of March 7, 2009 due to some ATVs using them, thinking our sledding season was over.
TMSC would like to take this opportunity to thank our Landowners for their kindness and use of their land for our trails, so that we in turn could provide a great source of winter activity and fun for all our riders.
We would also like to thank our permit outlets for their time and work while selling permits, handing out maps and giving trail information throughout the season.
TMSC wishes everyone a happy and safe summer and looks forward to your continued support and membership again next season. Larry Hulsmans, Vice President TMSC

Buckhorn (Buckhorn District S/C) - Closed
The Buckhorn District Snowmobile Club is winding down the 08-09 season which by all reports was a success. We experienced a winter that started with a good accumulation of snow.
Our groomer operators and volunteers remained diligent in keeping the trails in top condition. The clubs efforts will now focus on preparing for the next season.
On behalf of the Buckhorn District Snowmobile Club and the Board of Directors, I would like to extend a thank you to the volunteers, landowners and especially our members for their support in making snowmobiling in Buckhorn a reality this season. Dave Kuntz, President

Cloyne (Mazinaw Powerline S/C) - Closed
Our trails are all closed now and your Board of Directors wish to thank all permit purchasers for their continued support and loyalty. We would like to thank all Landowners who gave your club permission to use their properties. This is a critical part of our trail system and allows us to join communities and provide access to services. We also wish to thank all our volunteers for their long hours and unselfish donations of time and resources which make everything we enjoy possible. This season may have just finished, but the planning for next season has already begun. There is much to do.
All terrain vehicles are not allowed on OFSC trails on private land in any season. Please dont trespass! Unauthorized use of OFSC snowmobile trails often results in trail closure. ATV riders can help keep snowmobile trails open by staying off private land trails at all times and by avoiding OFSC public land trails during the snowmobile grooming season.

Fenelon Falls (Kawartha Lakes S/C) - Closed
Kawartha Lakes S.C. trails are closed and should not be used for any other purpose on private land without the landowners written permission. If you do use them you are subject to Trespass to Property regulations and you are putting future use for snowmobile trails in jeopardy. Some of our trails on municipal land are open for other uses in the off season. ATV use on these trails require--Drivers licence, ATV licence, Insurance, and an ATV trail permit that is recognized in this area.
To all of our KLSC members...THANK YOU for supporting our club. To our Landowners...THANK You for letting us use your land. Come join us for Snowmobiling next year!

Stoney Lake, Woodview (Stoney Lake Sno Riders S/C) - Closed
We hope everyone had fun on the trails this season. Even though our trails closed early this year, we did get off to an early start. Mother Nature giveth then taketh away. With the dedicated volunteers and our landowners our trails this season were the best yet.
We thank our vendors for an outstanding job, doing permit apps, as we know, is time consuming. Many improvements to our system were done and there will be more in the future. Thanks go out to our permit holders, have a safe summer and well be looking forward to seeing you next season.
If you have any ideas or suggestions, dont be afraid to let us know...Wayne Orcutt, President Stoney Lake Sno Riders
