Our volunteers are the heart of Ontario's snowmobiling community - dedicating their time, skills and passion to keep our trails safe, our clubs strong, and our sport thriving. This year, Volunteer Canada is celebrating International Volunteer Year 2026 with the Ignite Volunteerism theory and in celebration, we'll be sharing all of the shout outs submitted by snowmobilers in appreciation for all of their hard work.

We are thrilled to announce that an OFSC volunteer has won the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations (CCSO) Brenda Welsh Outstanding Woman in Snowmobiling award! This award is presented to a female volunteer in recognition of their contributions in one or more of the following areas: rider experience, volunteer culture, initiatives and/or partnerships.

Impact of the Proposed ALTO High-Speed Rail Network on Ontario Prescribed Snowmobile Trails
The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) appreciates the opportunity to participate in the public consultation on a proposed high-speed rail network in the Province of Ontario. The OFSC opposes this project as currently proposed, due to its impact on riders, communities, local businesses, landowners, and Ontario’s winter economy.
