KEN BERTRAND

OFSC Governor

An enthusiastic touring rider, Ken Bertrand has been governor of District 3 since 2013. His first saddle time occurred as a teenager in 1968-69 and his first sled was a 1970 Ski-Doo Olympic 335. Ken quickly fell in love with the winter scenery and exploring places by snowmobile that are difficult to get to during any other of the year.

His volunteering journey began in the season of 2003-4 doing trail work for the Port Perry Snowmobile Club, and Ken soon stepped up club permit coordinator and to club vice president in 2012-13. As governor, Ken supported A Framework For Change and counts the 2014 season permit sales growth as a significant achievement of his term on the OFSC Board of Governors.
